Another type of wheelchair lifts are ones for a van.  Typically, people who are traveling with those in wheelchairs have vans or large vehicles, and it’s extremely hard for those people to get inside the van, especially with no help.

Old school wheelchair ramps are not necessarily good for all people.  Therefore, a mechanical wheelchair lift, in any event is a great addition for convenience and comfort to people travelling in it.

The next type of wheelchair lifts that we are quickly going to look at is wheelchair lifts for cars.  Depending on the size of the car, you might have wheelchair lifts installed in order to accommodate somebody in your family, or somebody who is in the car a lot of the time.

A wheelchair car lift is very similar to the van lift talked about in the previous paragraph, and it is also similarly priced.

There can also be custom built wheelchair lifts for homes.  These do not necessarily have to be on a staircase, but could be on a step up or bungalow style set up.

These type of custom installations are more common than you might think, so there is a part of your house that is more elevated than others, yet not still connected to a staircase, you still have a chance to install a custom wheelchair life there.
